Darren Chuckry
Chair of the Marketing Society and the Regional VP of PCMA (Professional Convention Management Association)
Darren currently serves as the Chair of the Marketing Society and the Regional VP of PCMA (Professional Convention Management Association). Darren’s previous position was Managing Director of Uniplan Hong Kong where he was responsible for driving brand experience transformation and innovation with global brands across Asia including Mercedes, Huawei, Audi, UBS, Google, and Hong Kong Jockey Club.
He has played a key leadership role across multiple high-profile projects including Asia’s debut of the world‘s premier modern and contemporary art show Art Basel, Longines HK Masters, Formula E Hong Kong, Lumieres HK and the Grand Opening of The Parisian Macau and Studio City.
Darren is a regular and current contributor to industry publications including CAMPAIGN, MARKETING MAGAZINE, and CEI.
Darren is also holder of more than 60 premiere creative marketing awards including EFFIE, PROMAX, CLIO, MARKETING and CAMPAIGN awards.
Deborah Caldwell
SVP, Asia Pacific Head of Global Events
DEBORAH CALDWELL is the Asia Pacific head of Event Marketing for Bank of America Merrill Lynch, based in the Hong Kong office. Deborah oversees a team of event planners located in five markets across the Asia Pacific region. They are responsible for planning and executing a variety of client events and senior leadership meetings for the bank.
Previous to her current role, Deborah was co-Head of Events, EMEA for Nomura International based in London, before being relocated to Hong Kong in 2011 to become Head of Events for Asia ex-Japan. She also held roles at Lehman Brothers in London covering EMEA events and worked for an events agency in Sydney, Australia.
Deborah holds bachelor’s degrees in Commerce and Tourism, both from Otago University in Dunedin, New Zealand.
Deborah is a committee member for the Hong Kong chapter of Bank of America Merrill Lynch’s Women’s network (LEAD) and is currently a mentor in the Cherie Blair Foundation Mentoring Program for 2019. Deborah is proud to be part of the PCMA Advisory Committee for Hong Kong, Macau and Taiwan.
Luisa Galindo

Born and raised in Bogotá, Ms. Galindo received her BA in Business Administration from the Externado University of Colombia and focused her career on Sales & International Communications.
She produced special reports on emerging and developed countries, such as Colombia, Mexico, Uruguay, Spain, US Virgin Islands and Japan, for well-recognized media, such as the Washington Post, Newsweek, USA Today, and Forbes Asia. Seeking challenges, she has also led sales teams and developed PR and thought-leadership strategies for C-Suite and senior executives across the world.
In recent years, as Business Development Manager for the Economist Group, Ms. Galindo adds value to the Economist Corporate Network guiding top clients from the public and private sectors in Hong Kong.
Justin Choy
Managing Director HK – Creative Technology
Justin Choy is the Managing Director and Lead Design Engineer of Creative Technology Hong Kong.
Justin is mainly responsible for continuing the company’s ongoing expertise in the field of Events Engineering. He heads several design teams in creating unique and innovative systems to create the one-of-a-kind experiences that have become synonymous with the CT name. Before becoming Managing Director, Justin was a well sought-after video and graphics operator, most notably in both Encore and Hippo systems, and has flown all over the world to create visual spectacles everywhere. He specializes in Large-Format and New Visual media by challenging the boundaries of which most people expect to experience visual graphics. His work has been experienced by many in such high profile events as the Sands Cotai Central Grand Opening, Christian Dior Fashion Show, Detour Hong Kong, Cle de Peau beaute table projection, Lumieres Hong Kong.
Justin is a Master of Science Graduate with Honors, Cum Laude from the University of Southern California, Los Angeles. He began his career not in the Events Industry, but as an Electrical Engineer at Second Sight Medical Products, where he designed, implemented, and tested several software applications and digital circuits used in a retinal prosthesis (for the visually impaired) as well as training and testing of patients in clinical trials.
